Joseph Morviller, born in Paris, was a landscape painter & lithographer. He studied fresco painting in England and France. he came to Boston, Massachusetts in 1852, painting his characteristic picturesque winter landscapes with genre elements. His images were published as chromo-lithographs by the Boston art-print publisher, Louis Prang. SIZE: 26" x 36".
