INTERESTING EARLY CARVING, POSSIBLY FROM A SMALL VESSEL.

18th Century or earlier. The central scene showing two religious men, one holding a cross and the other a globe, all under a spread winged dove. Arched panel topped by a winged cherub and flanked by large guardian angels. Possibly walnut. SIZE: 15-1/2" h x 34-1/2" w. CONDITION: Carving is very good, bottom edge with insect damage. 49888-5 WAG (1,000-1,500)
