CHIPPENDALE MAHOGANY MIRROR.Last quarter 18th century, American. The rectangular mirror plate within a gilt carved and molded surround, the frame with scrolling crest and lower frieze with scrolled ears, the crest with carved gilt rondel. SIZE: 33" h x 17" w. PROVENANCE: Estate of Siro R. Toffolon, of Old Lyme, CT. CONDITION: Original mirror plate and backboard. Pendant apron slightly bowed. Some restoration to veneers and to proper left scroll work and crest. 49476-106 HMG (400-600)
