LONGCHUAN MALLET VASE.The broad, slightly rounded cylindrical body rises to a canted shoulder below a cylindrical neck. The vase is covered inside and out, and on the base, with an unctuous pale brownish glaze suffused with russet crackles. SIZE: 6-3/4" h. PROVENANCE: From a Northern California Family through descent from Dr. B. Engstrom of Stockholm, Sweden (bears label on bottom). CONDITION: Very good. 49935-14 HL (2,000-3,000)
