BRONZE CANDLESTICK AND WASH BASIN.Japan, 19th/20th century. The first, a finely detailed bronze statue of a seated monkey with one arm raised toward the sky, holding a small pot which holds a candle. Mounted on a marble plinth. The second, a large wash basin with three groups of monkeys climbing up the walls and peering over the edge to the interior. SIZE: 1) 11" h. 2) 8-1/2" h x 16" dia.
