WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 SADDLE RING CARBINE.WINCHESTER92 SRC98800244 WCFMODERN; C&RCal. 44 WCF. 20" bbl. Saddle ring. Straight grained American walnut stocks with carbine butt. Marble no. 11 front sight. Ladder rear sight. CONDITION: Very good. Bbl retains 20% blue in protected areas with some marring and scratching behind the front sight and some muzzle wear. Sights are good. Bore is bright with strong rifling. Magazine tube retains 60% blue with some marring and scratching toward the front end. Receiver retains blue in protected areas with the balance blended into a silver-brown patina with carry wear. Saddle ring shadow is present. Lever and hammer retain 50% blue with the balance a bright silver-gray patina. Stocks are very good with an old varnish finish. Stocks are full-sized. There is a burn mark at the toe of the butt.
