Cal approx .44 unmarked with sprue cutter. 2) Tranter patent brass mold .40 cal for two bullets. Marked "Tranter's" patent on left side and "54" on top. 3) A crude brass mold in approx .36 cal with 2 cavities, 1 for ball and 1 for conical. Marked "3107" on left side, no sprue cutter. 4) Colt 1851 Navy brass bullet mold with iron sprue cutter. Cutter is marked "Colt's Patent" and "P". Rapley no. M 22. 5) Colt bullet mold .44 cal with iron sprue cutter. Cutter mark is obliterated "W.A.T." proof on right side with "T" on the top. Mold is .44 cal for Dragoon. Rapley no. M 14. 6) Colt bullet mold for 3rd Model Dragoon. Bowleg design. Sprue cutter is marked "Colt's Patent". Right side of mold is stamped "S". Mold is unmarked and has a sprue cutter between the legs. One leg has a bullet rammer, the other leg has a bullet puller. 18) Colt iron mold for .31 cal Root revolver. Mold is unmarked. 20) Brass mold for .44 cal conical bullets. Mold is marked "195" on front face. Mold has no sprue cutter. SIZE: PROVENANCE: The Estate of G.W. "Bill" Stewart of Sonora, Texas. CONDITION: 1) Good. Heavily pitted overall. Cavities are good. 2) Very good. Brass has deep mustard patina with sharp mark. Sprue cutter is dark blue brown patina with clear mark. 3) Good. Deep mustard patina with stains and batter marks overall. 4) Very good. Markings are sharp. Cavities are clean and never have seen lead. Exterior is somewhat battered. Mustard brown patina on brass. Silver gray patina on cutter. 5)Good. Cutter is heavily pitted. Brass has a mustard patina with clear markings and is heavily battered. 6) Very good to fine. Sprue cutter is a smooth silver gray patina with clear marking. Mold is a mustard brown patina with clear marking and some battering. 7) Very good. Sprue cutter has pitting overall with readable mark. Mold has a yellow patina and has been cleaned. 8) Very good. Cutter is a smooth gray patina with clear mark. Mold is a mustard yellow patina. 9) Good. Mold is a dark gray brown patina with pitting overall. Bottom of handles have dents. 10) Good. Sprue cutter has a dark brown patina with some pitting. Screw is missing. Mold is a dark mustard patina and heavily battered on either side. 11) Very good to fine. Mold appears unused. Marking is sharp. Mold has a deep mustard patina with only light battering. 12) Very good. Sprue cutter is a dark gray patina with a clear mark. Some slight pitting at bottom hinge. Mold body is also a dark gray blue patina with clear markings and slight battering. 13) Good. Sprue cutter is a silver gray patina with clear marking. Mold body is also a silver gray patina. 14) Good. Mold is a gray brown patina overall with some dents. 15) Very good. Mold retains a considerable amount of orig blue, as does the sprucutter. Markings are sharp. Mold is only slightly battered. 16) Good. Mold is a dark gray brown patina overall with some heavy pitting. 17) Good. Mold is a blue gray patina overall with some roughness. 18) Very good. Sprue cutter is a silver gray patina with clear marking. Mold is also a silver gray patina with some staining and only slight battering. 19) Good. Sprue cutter is heavily pitted. Mold has a dark mustard brown patina with staining overall. 20) Very good.
