EXTREMELY RARE EARLY COLT 1861 NAVY WITH FLUTED CYLINDER AND TWO DIGIT SN.COLT18617336 CALCal. 36. 7-1/2" rnd bbl with 1-line N.Y. America Address. Blade front sight. Fully fluted cylinder. Frame marked on left side "Colt's Patent". 1-pc walnut grips, brass front and backstrap. All numbers matching. Housed in an old brown leather Slim Jim holster with flap. PROVENANCE: The Estate of G. W. "Bill" Stewart of Sonora, Texas. CONDITION: Very good overall. All metal services having been cleaned and show scattered minor pitting and corrosion. Grips are excellent with great fit. Minute loss at toe. Mechanics are very good. Bore is good with scattered light pitting. Holster is very good with light crackling on flap. Stitching is good. 49973-215 JSL150 (2,500-4,000)
