GROUP OF FIVE HOLSTERS.

1) Belt holster with brass clip riveted to front face. Altered to pocket-carry and made to fit a 4-3/4" Colt SAA revolver. Holster has border tooling with running snake design and border with floral motifs. Skirt of holster has been removed. Back of holster is marked "Emil Toepperiner Maker, Menardville, Tex." 2) Mexican single loop holster made for a small frame revolver, with "T. Koch, Seguin, Texas" marked on the front face. Loop has been removed. Skirt has been trimmed. Loop has been replaced by a leather thong. Stitching has been repaired by thong leather. 3) Tooled single loop holster made for a 5-1/2" Colt SAA revolver. Holster body is fully tooled, as is the loop. Loop is marked "Bedell Rogers Maker, Longview, Texas". Holster is fully lined. Tooling is floral with punch-dot background. Bottom of skirt is held down with a snap. 4) Tooled pocket holster made for a Colt SAA revolver with a 4-3/4" bbl. Metal clip has been removed from front-face and belt straps riveted to the rear. Back of holster is marked "E. Heinrich Maker Mason.Tex". 5) Mexican dbl loop catalog style holster made for a Colt Lightning revolver with 4-1/2" bbl. Russet brown finish with bordered tooling. SIZE: PROVENANCE: The Estate of G.W. "Bill" Stewart of Sonora, Texas. CONDITION: 1) Very good. Holster has generous traces of russet brown finish with worn tooling. Holster has a muzzle hole worn in the toe. Stitching is intact. Mark is clear. Brass clip has a mustard patina. 2) Very good as described. Holster still contains a considerable amount of russet brown finish with clear mark and tooling. 3) Very good. Tooling is sharp. Loop is scuffed. Lining is good and stitching is intact. 4) Good. Holster has considerable wear with breakage at the toe, and along the front face. Metal clip is missing. Stitching is intact. Mark is clear. 5) Fine. Holster retains much of the russet brown finish with slight cracking near the bottom loop near the skirt. Tooling is sharp. Stitching is intact. 49973-257 TEP (575-1,500)
