SCARCE F.H. CLARK, MEMPHIS DERINGER. HENRY DERINGER NSN 50 CAL Cal. 50. F.H. Clark is among the scarcer authorized agents to sell Henry Deringers in the Antebellum South. This is a nice example that appears original, complete and authentic. Gun measures 6-1/4" overall with a 2-7/8" bbl including breech. PROVENANCE: The Estate of G. W. "Bill" Stewart of Sonora, Texas. CONDITION: Bbl and lock are dark gray/brown overall. Markings of maker and agent discernible, as can be seen in photographs. Stock is sound and well-fit with hand worn patina, attractive grain with hairline crack between lock escutcheon and tang. Mechanically functional with well discerned rifling in bore. 49973-221 JS (2,500-4,500)
