BROWNING DIANA GRADE GAME GUN ENGRAVED BY V. DOYEN WITH CASE. BROWNING OU DIANA 41971 12 GA MODERN; C&R (1954) Cal. 12 GA 2-3/4" Chambers. 28" Bbls are marked for mod and full. Bbls have raised, matted, ventilated rib. Coin finished action with gold plated selective single trigger is engraved in typical Diana style, with heavy cut scroll surrounding game scenes; pheasants on left, ducks on right. Engravers signature "V. Doyen" is under pheasant scene. Nicely marbled European walnut stock has horn Browning buttplate. Tan Hartman case. Weight: 7 lbs. 12 oz. PROVENANCE: Lifelong Collection of Gentleman Collector Herbert Hyatt. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining over 95% of its orig finishes, with light marks in wood.
