EXCEPTIONAL BROWNING POINTER GRADE CUSTOM WITH GOLD INLAY, CASE, AND SHIPPING BOX. BROWNING POINTER 864PW00348 12 GA MODERN 12 gauge, 30" bbl, 3" chambers, chokes marked mod/improved mod. Full length matted rib with white plastic mid and front bead. Gold plated single selective trigger, automatic ejectors, non-automatic safety, stock is LTFK configuration, checkered in 2-point pattern with 14-1/4" LOP over black Browning buttplate. Schnabel forearm checkered in 2-point pattern on sides. Receiver nicely engraved in what is a mostly typical Pointer Grade Pattern and engraver signed "JP Bailly" on left side of frame. Bust of Pointer in grass surrounded by gold oval on bottom and pheasants in flight on trigger guard bow. Safety markings in gold. Housed in an original Browning light brown luggage case. WEIGHT: 7 lbs. 5 oz. PROVENANCE: Lifelong Collection of Gentleman Collector Herbert Hyatt. CONDITION: Excellent. Bbls retain 96-98% orig blue, starting to tone with scattered handling marks. Buttstock and forearm are excellent. Great grain in butt, minor handling marks throughout. Minute beginnings of a grain separation on right side at frame. Checkering is good. Frame is excellent with very minor scattered staining. Mechanics are excellent. Bores are bright and shiny. Case is excellent to near mint.
