SCARCE PARKER VH 20 GAUGE.PARKERVH19633920 GAMODERN; C&RCal. 20 ga. 26" Vulcan steel bbls. 2-1/2" chambers. Choked mod/full. Full length matted rib marked "Parker Bros. Makers, Meriden, Conn. Vulcan Steel". "0" frame. Dbl triggers, extractors, automatic safety. Capped full pistol grip buttstock with 14-1/4" LOP over Parker Bros. DHBP. Buttstock checkered in standard 2-point pattern with nickel shield. Splinter forearm with Deeley release and steel tip, checkered in standard "V" grade pattern. Receiver zig zag border engraved and marked "Parker Bros." on both sides. WEIGHT: 5lbs. 13oz. CONDITION: Excellent overall. Bbls retain 90-95% original blue finish with light handling marks and light hunting wear throughout. Buttstock and forearm retain most of what appears to be their original finish with a coat of varnish or two on top. Receiver retains about 1/2 of its original case color, moderately faded on bottom of frame, stronger on top and sides. Trigger guard retains about 20% original blue mostly on bow with balance silvered. Bores are excellent, bright and shiny. Mechanics are very good though would benefit from a gentle cleaning.
