EXCEPTIONAL NEAR MINT ITHACA FIELD GRADE 12 GAUGE NID MODEL.ITHACAFIELD42623612 GAMODERN; C&RCal. 12 ga. 30" "Smokeless Powder" bbls, 2-3/4" chambers, chokes marked modified/full, full-length matted tapered rib with brass front bead. Double triggers, extractors, automatic safety. Capped full pistol grip buttstock, checkered in 2-pt pattern with 14-1/8" LOP over serrated lined hard rubber buttplate. Splinter forearm with Deeley release, checkered in 3-pt pattern. Both sides stamped with setter in field scene and marked "Ithaca Gun Co. Ithaca, NY". Cocking indicators on top of frame. WEIGHT: 7lbs 2oz. CONDITION: Extremely fine, near new retaining most all orig blued finish to both wood and metal. Bbls retain 98-99% beautiful orig finish. Buttstock and forearm retain 97-98% beautiful hand-rubbed factory finish. There is a minute grain separation in stock on left side at frame, otherwise stocks are sound with scattered minor handling marks, and would easily rate extremely fine. Trigger guard and forearm iron retain nearly all of their orig blued finish, just a hint of toning. Receiver retains 95%+ orig case color, particularly dark on sides. Just starting to tone on bottom of frame. Not a rare Ithaca, but a rare gun in this condition. Brilliant shiny bores, mechanics are crisp. 49797-4 JSL32 (1,250-1,750)
