L.C. SMITH TRAP GRADE 16 GAUGE.L.C. SMITHTRAP GRADE9116716 GAMODERN; C&RCal. 16 ga. 28" fluid steel bbls. 2-1/2" chambers. Choked mod/full. Full length matted rib with brass front bead. Featherweight frame. Hunter One single selective trigger, automatic ejectors, non-automatic safety. Capped full pistol grip buttstock, checkered in 2-point pattern with 13-5/8" LOP (rear position single trigger) over serrated lined hard rubber buttplate. Splinter forearm with banjo roll-type release, checkered in 3-point pattern with ebony tip. Gun is engraved in standard Trap pattern, and marked "L.C. Smith" on both sides. WEIGHT: 6lbs. 11oz. A scarce gun with approximately 282 made. CONDITION: Very good. Bbls retain most of a refurbished blue finish with light handling marks and a few specs of light rust. Bbl address and grade stamp are lightly washed out. Buttstock and forearm retain about 70% original hand rubbed varnish, checkering is lightly warn, particularly on forearm at left side. Receiver has been cleaned and is starting to tone. Stocks are sound with handling marks throughout. Bores are bright and shiny.
