GRIFFIN & HOWE MAGNUM MAUSER DANGEROUS GAME RIFLE WITH SCOPE. G & H BOLT 98 744 375HH MODERN; C&R Cal. .375 H&H Mag. 24" Lightweight sporter bbl is fitted with classic quarter rib holding one standing, two folding leaf express rear sight. Rib is matted and engraved "No 744 GRIFFIN & HOWE, INC. NEW YORK". Bbl is fitted with matted front ramp holding gold bead, and sling loop base. Commercial Mauser magnum square bridge action has checkered top of receiver ring and bridge, engine turned bolt body, checkering on orig bolt knob, flag safety is inlaid SAFE and READY. Bottom metal with drop box has hinged floorplate. Nicely marbled European walnut custom made traditionally styled stock is fitted with ebony tip steel grip cap and red Pachmayr pad. Checkering has stippled areas. Rifle is also fitted with Hensoldt 4X Ziel - Dialyt scope in G&H mount with windage adjustment. Weight with scope: 10 lbs. 6 oz. CONDITION: Excellent, as refurbished. Metal parts retain nearly all of a well done rust blue over some pitting on top of quarter rib. Newly made stock retains nearly all of its custom finish. Bores is very fine with some light frosting.
