UNUSUAL KRIEGHOFF FULL STOCKED DRILLING WITH SCOPE.KRIEGHOFFDRILLING1657116 GA X 16 GA X 7X57RMODERN; C&RCal. 16ga x 16 ga x 7 x 57R. 2-1/2" Chambers. 21-3/4" Bbls, choked modified and modified, are fitted with Krieghoff low profile scope mounts. Case hardened Blitz action with pin type cocking indicators, crossbolt third fastener and side clips is engraved with 30% coverage large, simple, open scroll. Krieghoff nomenclature is on trigger plate. Krieghoff "H", "K" & anchor logo is on breechface. Trigger guard and grip cap are of horn. Well figured European walnut stock has right hand Bavarian cheekpiece. Cartridge trap on toe line and unusual fluted carved "checkering" at grip, and on forend which extends to muzzle with schnabeled horn cap. Rear portion is removable for takedown, and has horn transition to front section, and Deeley release. Zeiss Zielvier rail scope with heavy three post reticle, has Karl Bock address on top and is in custom fitted see-through mounts. PROVENANCE: The Timothy Scott Collection. CONDITION: Fine. Bbls re-blued with some heavy pitting on rear right bbl. Action has traces of orig color. Stocks have old oil refinish, sharp edges somewhat rounded. Bores are very fine with some scattered pitting in shotgun tubes. Rifle bore is excellent. Scope is very good. Optics clear. 50071-7 MGM143 (1,000-2,000)
