HANDEL ROSE TABLE LAMP.Handel table lamp has domed shade with reverse painted decoration of pink roses encircling the shade with shaded green leaves as well as shadowy distant leaves. All against a shaded yellow and gray background with exterior finished in chipped ice. Signed on interior rim "Handel 6941". Shade rests on original Handel bulbous base with vertical ribbed body, three socket cluster and fleur-de-lis pierced cap. Signed on edge of foot in impressed block letters "Handel". Base carries rich brown finish with green highlights. SIZE: Shade is 18" dia. Lamp is 23" t. PROVENANCE: From the Unreserved Collection of Dr. & Mrs. Brian Bojesen. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent. Base is very good with minor wear and discoloration to finish. Re-wired with older plastic cord. 50361-7 DAB (4,000-6,000)
