HANDEL REVERSE PAINTED TABLE LAMP.Handel table lamp has dome shaped shade with pink, yellow and orange flowers and shaded brown and green spiked leaves ascending from lip all against a cream background. Exterior is finished in chipped ice. Signed on interior "Handel 7042" with artist initials "A.G." Shade rests on original Handel base with round stepped platform foot and vase shaped body leading to 3-socket cluster and fleur-de-lis pierced cap. Signed on underside with applied cloth tag "Handel Lamps". SIZE: Shade is 15" dia. Lamp is 22" t. PROVENANCE: From the Unreserved Collection of Dr. & Mrs. Brian Bojesen. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent. Base is very good with some minor wear to finish and pitting on riser. Re-wired with appropriate cloth cord. 50361-4 DAB (3,000-5,000)
