HANDEL BROWN MOSSERINE TABLE LAMP.Handel table lamp has brown Mosserine dome shaped shade with heavy chipped ice exterior along with acid cut back band of scrolls and leaves surrounding rim. Shade rest on an original Handel cast metal base with four square feet slightly swelling body and four incorporated handles leading to the vertically ribbed riser which supports three socket cluster. Base is finished with pierced fleur-de-lis cap and faceted round amber glass finial. All metal has rich brown patina. Base signed on edge of foot with impressed block letters "Handel". Shade is unsigned. SIZE: Shade is 18" dia. Lamp is 23-1/4" t. PROVENANCE: From the Unreserved Collection of Dr. & Mrs. Brian Bojesen. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent. Base is very good with very minor blistering. Re-wired with contemporary plastic cord. 50361-3 DAB (1,500-2,500)
