HANDEL TEROMA WINTER SCENE LAMP.Handel table lamp has Teroma mushroom shade with enameled winter scene of barren trees rising from snow covered ground against mottled orange shading to yellow sky. Signed on inside rim "Hande_ _970". Shade rests on original Handel Moorish base with round platform foot and Moorish metal rope decoration rising up the stem which supports a single socket and three arm spider attaching cast openwork shade ring. Base has rich brown patina. Signed on underside in raised block letters "Handel". SIZE: Shade is 11-1/2" dia with 10" fitter. Lamp is 19" t. PROVENANCE: From the Unreserved Collection of Dr. & Mrs. Brian Bojesen. CONDITION: Shade is very good with some shallow shell shaped flakes to inside rim. Base is very good to excellent with some minor wear to patina. 50361-70 DAB (1,200-1,800)
