HANDEL METAL OVERLAY CATTAIL TABLE LAMP.Handel table lamp has eight caramel slag bent panels with metal overlay cattail design covering each panel. Cattail leaves are painted in shades of green while cattails are painted in shades of brown. Metal overlay as well as vertical ribs supporting each bent panel are finished in rich brown patina. Shade is signed on metal aperture ring "Handel", shade rests on simple art nouveau base with square foot leading to ribbed stem. Base is finished in a matching rich brown patina and is signed on underside with impressed block letters "Handel". SIZE: Shade is 19-1/2" dia. Lamp is 23-1/2" t. PROVENANCE: From the Unreserved Estate of the late David Barnett. CONDITION: Some minor wear to patina on shade and base. Base has three replacement contemporary sockets and has been re-wired with contemporary plastic cord. 50444-1 DAB (2,000-4,000)
