TIFFANY FURNACES LAMP.Tiffany Furnaces bronze lamp base has an inverted saucer, vertically ribbed foot, decorated with four graduated ovals of beautiful red enamel within each ribbed area. Base is finished with a slightly bulging stem and harp socket holder. Base supports a Favrile gold iridescent candle shade with vertically ribbed sides, ruffled and stretched rim. The gold iridescence shows nice platinum highlights and darkens toward the fitter. Shade is signed "L.C. Tiffany Favrile". Base is signed "Louis C. Tiffany Furnaces Inc. Favrile 15A" and also carries the Tiffany logo. SIZE: Shade is 8" dia. Lamp is 17" t. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent. Base has been rewired with wire extending from top of socket. Original switch on base has been removed but switch knob is still present. Some minor wear and discoloration to patina. Finial has been replaced. 50333-17 jak (1,500-2,500)
