SCARCE DAUM NANCY RAIN SCENE LAMP.Beautifully executed Daum cameo lamp is decorated with desirable rain scene on shade and base. Cameo and enameled barren trees are set against a frosted background with a band of lavender encircling the middle of both shade and base. Cameo rain drops extend diagonally around the shade and base as if blown by the wind. The bottom of the shade and base are finished with green enamel depicting grass and background trees. Signed on underside of base with black "Daum Nancy", "D" and cross of Lorraine. SIZE: 14-1/4" t x 7-1/2" w. PROVENANCE: From an Unreserved Texas Collection. CONDITION: Minor wear to metal shade arms and collar, rewired with plastic cord and contemporary socket. Otherwise very good to excellent. 50006-71 MEF (10,000-15,000)
