DAUM NANCY SUNFLOWER VASE.Large Daum inverted trumpet vase has rich cranberry and green background glass with acid cut stems, leaves and sunflower blossoms. Acid textured background has acid cut polished swirls in the green sections and smaller random polished acid cut wavy lines in the cranberry sections. Vase is further decorated with each of the three flower blossoms having a round applied cranberry center with acid cut pattern. Vase also has gilding on stems and sunflower leaves and underside has martele around the polished pontil. Signed on the pontil with etched "Daum Nancy" and Cross of Lorraine. SIZE: 15-1/2" t. PROVENANCE: From an Unreserved Texas Collection. CONDITION: Some small open bubbles on the underside from the making, otherwise very good to excellent. 50006-43 MEF (2,000-3,000)
