Exceptionally well-executed Daum Nancy cameo vase in baluster form has wheel-carved tulip blossoms in pale blue with stems and leaves of purple, set against a martele finished background of mottled iridescent blue fading to purple. When backlit, the blue tulips and leaves illuminate a rich golden yellow. Vase is further decorated with traces of gilding at foot and rim.
