Mag. 24" rnd bbl, blued action with hinged mag & gold plated trigger with receiver sides heavily engraved with large open scroll & game scenes with gold inlaid line borders. Left side scene with 2 bull elk & 2 cow elk in gold while right side scene is of 4 moose, 2 bulls & 2 cows. Left side scene signed J. Baerten. Left side of receiver is signed Jean H. Diet. Beautifully figured dark walnut with flat knob pistol grip & Browning solid black pad. Both stock & forend are fine line checkered with acanthus carved borders. CONDITION: Very fine, near new, showing no evidence of being fired or used. Minuscule fine line marks in bbl blue. Wood finish practically flawless. Mint bore. 50179-4 TJW (5,000-7,000)
