FOX STERLINGWORTH 251205 20GA MODERN; C&R Cal. 20ga. 2-5/8" chambers, 28" standard marked bbls, choked approx Mod/Full, splinter forend. Standard engraved Sterlingworth non-ejector action, dbl triggers and straight grain American walnut. Capped pistol grip stock measures 14" to correct hard rubber buttplate. DAC 1-1/2", DAH 2-7/8". Automatic safety. PROVENANCE: Remarkable William Larkin Moore Private Estate Collection of Fine Sporting Arms. CONDITION: Very fine. Gun retains what appears to be virtually all of its factory finishes, including vibrant case color on frame, correct blue finish on bbls and trigger bow. Sharp Sterlingworth engraving. Untouched screws. Top lever right of center. Bright bores. Orig file marks on bbl breech faces. Crisp markings. Wood retains wonderful finish with minor handling marks. Flat top checkering.
