WINCHESTER PRE-WAR MODEL 70 BOLT ACTION RIFLE. WIN M-70 3111 250-3000 MODERN Cal. 250-3000 Savage. Standard grade rifle with pre-war features including safety and cloverleaf tang. Bolt body numbered to rifle. 24" bbl with stippled ramp hooded front sight and No. 22H rear sight. Bottom on bbl has date code of 36. Straight comb walnut stock featuring 22 lpi hand checkering with checkered steel buttplate and sling swivels. PROVENANCE: The Jon Roark Collection. CONDITION: Bbl and rec retain 98% orig rust blue. Both handle and bottom metal show slight fading. Very good stock finish showing light and scattered handling marks. Very good bore. 50387-4 DS (3,000-4,500)
