WINCHESTER PRE-WAR MODEL 70 BOLT ACTION RIFLE.WINM-703426630-06MODERNCal. 30-06. Bolt is numbered to rifle and has pre-war safety. Cloverleaf tang receiver has quick loading slots and un-drilled matted rear bridge. 24" bbl with matted ramp hooded 103C front sight, 22G rear sight with Lyman 57WJS receiver sight. Straight comb walnut stock with hand checkering, sling swivels and checkered steel buttplate. PROVENANCE: The Jon Roark Collection. CONDITION: Bbl and receiver have good rust bluing showing spots of wear and thinning at muzzle. Floorplate and trigger guard have spots of finish loss and edge wear. Stock has lightly worn finish showing scattered scratches and marks. Very good bore. 50387-3 DS (1,000-1,500)
