ENGRAVED REMINGTON MODEL 12-CS -F- GRADE STYLE SLIDE ACTION RIFLE.REMINGTON12CS-F26967022SPLMODERN; C&RCal. 22 Rem Special. 24" oct bbl, marked on bbl flat "Model 12-CS -F-". Scroll engraving at breech. Flip down rear sight. Receiver engraved in F Style with full coverage foliate scroll on each side with a 2 rabbit woodland vignette on left side and right side with squirrel in tree vignette. Engraving on magazine bands. Receiver top and underside treated to scroll and wavy line with punch dot engraving. SN engraved in front underside of receiver and on lower tang. Capped pistol grip with Remington logo. Highly figured walnut with wonderful curly tobacco smoke figure, checkering bold and crisp. Steel crescent buttplate with Remington/UMC logo. CONDITION: Fine as professionally restored. Gun retains nearly all of its bright blue. Shows slight wear on magazine tube and action bar from action being worked. Virtually all wood finish with the most minor of handling marks.
