ENGRAVED REMINGTON MODEL 12B SLIDE ACTION RIFLE. REMINGTON 12 226288 22LR MODERN; C&R Cal. 22 LR. 24" oct bbl, Lyman front sight and Marbles rear sight. Correct folding tang sight. Receiver is wonderfully factory engraved with large vignettes of 2 rabbits in field scene left side and a squirrel in a tree on the right side, all surrounded by full coverage foliate arabesque patterns with wavy line and dot border. Receiver top engraved with large foliate arabesque pattern. Trigger guard engraved to match. Receiver and trigger guard have SN engraved. Wood is beautiful with honey and chocolate figure. Pistol grip stock with Remington hard rubber grip cap. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbl and mag tube retain strong orig blue with slight muzzle and edge wear and moderate pump action wear. Receiver with 90% dull orig blue. Wood is sound with a minor nick or two, otherwise retains about all of a fine professionally restored finish. Good mechanics, bright bore. 50426-35 TJW (5,000-8,000)
