EARLY AYA NO. 1 SIDELOCK GAME GUN. AYA MODEL NO. 1 383110 20 MODERN; C&R Cal. 20 ga. 2-3/4" Cham. 28" chopper lump bbls, choked Mod/Full. Case colored hand-detachable sidelocks with hand engraved Purdey-type bouquet and scroll engraving, cocking indicators. Single non-selective trigger, auto ejectors. Medium color straight grain walnut, beaver tail forend, carved drop points, straight grip, 14" LOP over solid black pad. PROVENANCE: Remarkable William Larkin Moore Private Estate Collection of Fine Sporting Arms. CONDITION: Very good. Bbls retain most of their orig rust blue finish with high edge wear on ribs and muzzle, missing mid-bead. Receiver retains most of its orig case hardening color. Some thinning blue on trigger tang. Stock is sound with numerous light rubs and handling marks from usage. Minor chip at point of top tang. Bright bores, mechanics crisp, action tight. 50595-19 JWD (3,500-5,500)
