AUGUSTE FRANCOTTE 20E CASED SXS SHOTGUN. FRANCOTTE 20E 88758 20 MODERN; C&R Cal. 20 ga. 26" fluid steel bbls. Fixed cyl & IMP-CYL chokes. Chambers are 2-3/4" . Side-plated boxlock action with side clips, cross bolts, and case colored finish. Full coverage rose and scroll engraving. Dbl triggers and auto ejectors. Splinter forearm and half pistol grip stock of fancy thin shell walnut. LOP: 13-3/4" checkered butt. Drop at comb: 1-7/16". Drop at heel: 2-1/8". Includes leather covered luggage case with makers label. Case lid is marked with previous owner's name and contains snap caps. PROVENANCE: Remarkable William Larkin Moore Private Estate Collection of Fine Sporting Arms. CONDITION: Bbl retains very good re-blackened finish.
