FINE PRE-WAR SWEDISH SIDELOCK EJECTOR GAME GUN BY HUSQVARNA. HUSQVARNA SLE 84847 12ga MODERN; C&R; IVORY Cal. 12 ga. 2-3/4" Cham. 29-1/2" bbls, choked IC/IM, rib marked "HUSQVARNA VAPENFABRIKS A.B.". Case colored sidelock action is beautifully engraved with intermediate relief scroll work and fine borders as are trigger bow and tang. Greener type cross bolt, side clips, cocking indicators, checkered safety, double trigger. Sling swivel provisions removed. Fancy dark streak walnut, splinter forend with Schnabel tip, straight grip. 14-1/2" LOP over solid red pad. Twin ivory bead sights. PROVENANCE: Remarkable William Larkin Moore Private Estate Collection of Fine Sporting Arms. CONDITION: Very fine as professionally restored. Gun retains virtually all of its restored finish with some thinning of blue at the muzzles and a few light handling marks in the wood. Receiver retains most of its orig case hardening color which is starting to fade. Wood is sound with sharp checkering. Bright shiny bores, mechanics crisp, action tight. 50595-25 JWD (4,000-6,000)
