VERY FINE WORLD WAR I GERMAN DWM 1917 NAVY LUGER. DWM LUGER (1906) NAVY 1917 271A 9MM MODERN; C&R; IMPORT Cal. 9mm. 6" bbl with blue finish overall with "1917" chamber date and "DWM" in script on toggle. 2-pc walnut checkered grips. Wood base bright steel magazine. Slide adjustable 200 meter Navy rear sight at rear of toggle. Serial numbered in the A Series. Left forward portion of frame dated "1917" as is left side of front sight base. Very nice crown M Navy markings on left side of chamber. PROVENANCE: The Friedrich-Wilhelm Dauphin Collection, Germany. CONDITION: Very fine overall, with most period rust blue finish remaining. Matching numbers throughout with the exception of magazine and unnumbered grips. A large amount of straw finish remains on lever, trigger and extractor. Very good mechanics with strong bore. 49829-175 TDW (2,500-5,000)
