RARE MAUSER 41/42 CODE LUGER. MAUSER PO8 LUGER 41/42 CODE ZEHNA 6862N 9MM MODERN; C&R; IMPORT Cal. 9mm. 4" bbl with Eagle/655 proof on upper left and full serial number on bottom. "41" (1941) above chamber, "42" (Mauser) on center toggle link. Eagle/655 proofs on right receiver. Proper n suffix serial number on front of frame. Serial numbers on gun are matching down to toggle pin and firing pin. Unnumbered Eagle/655 proofed checkered walnut grips. Machined aluminum bottom magazine with proper n suffix but numbers do not match. PROVENANCE: The Friedrich-Wilhelm Dauphin Collection, Germany. CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 91% orig blue with normal wear on edges and corners. Bbl and grip straps are fading form corrosion. Grips are lightly worn and oil soaked. Bore has light wear with frosting. Minor dings in mag body and bottom. Mechanics are very fine. 49829-179 BWS (2,000-4,000)
