EXCEPTIONALLY FINE MAUSER CODE 42/1939 P-08 LUGER. MAUSER LUGER 42 1939 1708 9MM MODERN; C&R; IMPORT Cal. 9mm. 4" bbl with blue finish throughout. 2-pc checkered walnut grips and blue aluminum based magazine. Eagle 55 inspection with blue finished levers, trigger, magazine release and proper purple toned ejector. PROVENANCE: The Friedrich-Wilhelm Dauphin Collection, Germany. CONDITION: Near new and showing no signs of actual use. Bore and mechanics are exceptional. Grips are checkered very sharp with no distress or material loss whatsoever. Blue finish only has the slightest traces of edge wear at crown of muzzle and high points of stock lug. This is an extremely fine example of an early war 42 Code Luger. 49829-39 TDW (1,500-4,000)
