UNIT MARKED SIMSON & CO. LUGER. SIMSON P08 LUGER 2275 9MM MODERN; C&R; IMPORT Cal 9mm. 4" bbl with full SN on bottom. "SIMSON & Co/SUHL" on center toggle link. Eagle/6 proofs on almost all parts. Numbered parts on gun are matching, including full SNs on backs of checkered walnut grips. "A.S.363." unit marked on front grip strap. Aluminum bottom Eagle/6 proofed Simson magazine has numbers that do not match. PROVENANCE: The Friedrich-Wilhelm Dauphin Collection, Germany. CONDITION: Very fine. Contemporary restoration retaining 98% blue and straw with normal wear on sharp edges and corners. Grips are lightly worn with beautiful wood grain. Bore is bright and sharp.
