UNUSUAL FIVE DIGIT KRIEGHOFF 1936 LUGER. KRIEGHOFF P08 LUGER 1936 17566 9MM MODERN; C&R; IMPORT Cal. 9mm. 4" bbl with Eagle/2 proof and last four digits of SN on bottom. 1936 date above chamber. "HK/KRIEGHOFF/SUHL" anchor logo on center toggle link. Five digit SN's on left receiver and front of frame with "1" added in front of both numbers before factory blueing (possibly assembled later from existing parts). Eagle/2 proofs on right receiver and right frame also on many small parts. Numbered parts are matching. Brown coarse checkered plastic grips with border. Unnumbered aluminum bottom FXO mag. PROVENANCE: The Friedrich-Wilhelm Dauphin Collection, Germany. CONDITION: Excellent, 97% orig bright blue and 90% orig straw with scattered light corrosion. Grips are bright and sharp. Bore is bright with light frosting. Mechanics are excellent. Mag has very little wear. 49829-98 BWS (5,000-10,000)
