VERY FINE PORTUGUESE CONTRACT MODEL 1906 WITH CROWN M2 CREST. DWM LUGER 1906 PORTUGUESE M2 2869 7.65 PARA MODERN; C&R; IMPORT Cal. 7.65 PARA. 4-3/4" bbl with grip safety and 2-pc checkered walnut grips. Blue finish overall with straw finish on safety, trigger and ejector. Proper and correct nickel finished wood base magazine with Portuguese inspection at base. Chamber has the Cypher of King Manuel II (M2). Small Portuguese acceptance markings on major components including magazine. PROVENANCE: The Friedrich-Wilhelm Dauphin Collection, Germany. CONDITION: Very fine overall, with most blue finish remaining with typical edge wear at muzzle and high points of frame. Grips are exceptional with good checkering and a very minor chip at bottom of left grip. Has good bore and mechanics. 49829-51 TDW (2,500-4,000)
