RARE CASED CHILEAN 1900 UNRELIEVED LUGER SN 89. DWM LUGER 1900 89 7.65 PARA MODERN; C&R; IMPORT Cal. 7.65 Para. 4-3/4" bbl with full SN and "BP" in shield on bottom. DWM scroll on center toggle link. Dished toggles, no apparent proof marks. Numbers on gun are matching, with many being in a smaller font. Very small font matching 9's on sideplate and left frame. Takedown lever and mag release button are numbered on right side. "EJERCITO DE CHILE" on right frame rail. Checkered walnut grips that are numbered to match. Early safety lever with 90 degree checkering and no safety mark. Grip safety. Unrelieved frame. Unrelieved Swiss flat button mag with wood bottom with steel disks. With 2 extra plain wood bottom mags with standard buttons and a cleaning rod/oiler & takedown tool. In a wood case with metal fittings and a silver plaque that is engraved "RF - WD / Nurnberg / 24-Dez-1902" on top. Interior is fitted blue velvet with a purple satin lid liner. PROVENANCE: The Friedrich-Wilhelm Dauphin Collection, Germany. CONDITION: Fine, retaining 90% blue from an old restoration, corrosion and light pitting are visible under most blued areas. Re-strawed to 90% with visible light pitting beneath. Grips are worn and oil soaked dark. Bore is worn with light pitting. Mechanics are fine. Mag has pitting on body and dings on wood bottom. Extra mags have little wear. Cleaning rod/oiler and takedown tool are excellent. Blue velvet interior and satin lid liner have normal light wear. Exterior has age appropriate wear with minor cracks and dents. 49829-8 BWS (4,000-8,000)
