EXCEPTIONAL GERMAN 1ST MODEL SNAIL DRUM WITH LOADER AND COVER.GERMANSNAIL DRUM 1ST MODEL55369MMCal. 9mm. 32-rnd blue steel German Snail Drum 1st Model with rnd steel handle with maker's mark "B" over "N" and numbered "5536". Accompanied by a Snail Drum toggling loader with no maker's name attached, of blue steel with tubular handle. With a very scarce and desirable Snail Drum dust cover. CONDITION: Exceptional overall condition, with most period blue finish remaining with very slight spotting of corrosion on front of drum and same on back of drum. No dents or any damage that would impede its functioning and slides in smoothly and extracts properly from several Lugers tested. Loading tool is exceptional with virtually all blue finish remaining. Functions properly and smoothly with only very slight traces of wear around high points and edges. The rare and uncommon dust cover is in good shape, has lost approximately one-third of its black enamel finish, no dents or damage. 51034-5 TDW (1,500-3,500)
