RARE 1938 MAUSER BANNER COMMERCIAL LUGER WITH MATCHING MAGAZINE. MAUSER LUGER 1938 5728V 9MM MODERN; C&R; IMPORT Cal. 9mm. 4-3/4" bbl with four digit SN on bottom and Crown/U proof on front of sight base. 1938 date above chamber. Mauser banner logo on Center toggle link. Crown/U proofs on toggle assembly and left receiver. All numbered parts are matching, including toggle pin, firing pin, checkered walnut grips, and orig matching aluminum bottom mag. PROVENANCE: The Friedrich-Wilhelm Dauphin Collection, Germany. CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 95% orig blue with scattered light pitting overall. 70% straw with light pitting. Grips are sharp and darkened with wood grain still visible, there is a small chip in the left grip under safety lever. Bore is worn with light pitting. Mechanics are fine.
