Blue finish overall with 2-pc checkered walnut grips with wood based nickel magazine. This commemorated the 75 year anniversary of the adoption of the Luger pistol by the German military. A total of 250 sets were manufactured in 1983. Chamber is gold inlaid with double date "1983" over "1900". Toggle is gold inlaid with "DWM" in script. Left hand frame side is marked in gold in relief "75 Jahre Parabellum-Pistole Mod. 08". Accompanied with burgundy leather display case with spare nickel magazine, cleaning rod and loading tool. Enclosed is instruction manual, copy of early DWM guarantee and test target. PROVENANCE: The Friedrich-Wilhelm Dauphin Collection, Germany. CONDITION: As new and believed to be unfired.
