EXTRAORDINARY WALTHER ARMY ISSUE H.P. "HEERES PISTOL". WALTHER HEERS PISTOL 12588 9MM MODERN; C&R Cal. 9mm. 5" bbl. High polish Walther blue finish overall with correct early dark brown 2-pc Bakalite grips. Both Eagle N proofed and Eagle 359 German inspection are found on the slide. "35" is evident on left side of frame and back of magazine in accordance with Warren Buxton's book "Walther p38 Vol. 3". Early slide marking with Walther in banner with model designation "Mod HP". CONDITION: As new. Slight traces of finish loss on very edges of magazine latch, rear corners of trigger from being pulled, and on hammer from operation. Otherwise, near un-fired condition. Bore and mechanics are obviously excellent. Bakalite grips are equally as fine with no chips, abrasions, or material loss. Would be exceptionally difficult to improve upon. 50926-1 TDW (3,500-7,000)
