SUPERB COMMERCIAL WALTHER P-38 TARGET SPORT MODEL. WALTHER P38 817N 9MM MODERN; IMPORT Cal. 9mm. Deep commercial high polish blue finish overall with 4" bbl and steel frame. Target sport model consisting of adjustable trigger with wide spur commercial target hammer. Adjustable front and rear sights with extended rear backstrap to facilitate the 2-pc rosewood smooth target stocks. Date coded and proofed "1973" with no retailer's name or address on pistol. Traditional 8-rnd magazine. PROVENANCE: The Friedrich-Wilhelm Dauphin Collection, Germany. CONDITION: Exceptionally fine overall, with very slight traces of edge wear.
