EXCEPTIONAL MAUSER CODE BYF 44 P-38 PISTOL.MAUSERP-383741A9MMMODERN; C&RCal. 9mm. 5" bbl. "BYF 44" stacked date with "Eagle WaA 135" German proofs. Period black plastic grips. Matching numbers throughout. Relatively late production P-38 but still of good fit and finish. CONDITION: Very fine overall, with minor edge wear on crowns of slide and edge of muzzle. Very minor finish loss on front strap of grip. Excellent bore with very good mechanics. Period "Eagle 88" inspected mag. A very fine example overall. 50631-2 TDW (1,000-2,500)
