VERY FINE SPRINGFIELD MODEL 1903 A1 NATIONAL MATCH RIFLE.SPRINGFIELD H31903 NAT MATCH131432030-06MODERN; C&RCal. 30-06. Receiver manufactured 1929, bbl 6/31 with star gauge match bbl. Constructed in National Match configuration with late pattern pistol grip stock, Type 3 handguard, and deep dish sight knobs and National Match deep checkered buttplate equipped with "1918" dated 2-pc military rifle sling. CONDITION: Excellent as refinished. Bbl action has been at some earlier date arsenal-refinished with all markings sharp and legible. National Match pistol grip stock has been slightly modified at bolt handle which is not evident when bolt is closed. Stock and handguard are excellent with no indication of refinish or repair. Bore and mechanics are excellent. Star gauge marking on muzzle is crisp. 50994-22 TDW (2,000-3,000)
