VERY FINE U.S. SPRINGFIELD MODEL 1922 M1.SPRINGFIELDM19222032922LRMODERN; C&RCal. 22LR. 24" bbl. Blue finish overall with 1-pc walnut stock without any reinforcing pins. NRA steel checkered buttplate, 5-shot detachable magazine with Lyman receiver sight and early 1922 M1 pattern bolt without cocking knob. Traditional 1903 pattern blade front sight with military pattern swivels. Bbl dated "11-31". CONDITION: Excellent as refinished. Receiver and bbl have been drilled and tapped for period scope use. Stock has been finely refinished. Bore and mechanics are excellent. Shipped 1934 by Division of Civilian Marksmanship with NRA pattern buttplate as per Summary of D.C.M.
